The Safe Mac is accepting donations to help pay for the site and development of my (upcoming) AdNuke software. If you wish to donate, simply click one of the Donate buttons on this site. Donations are processed through PayPal.

There is no need to feel bound to donate. Feel free to visit my site as often as you like without donating, and do not be concerned about contacting me without having donated. I do not expect donations. If you feel that this site is worth a donation, however, you may donate whatever you feel is appropriate to help keep it going.

Beyond donations, I do not receive any kind of payment from anyone for what I write on this site. This site is completely independent, and I would like things to stay that way. A source of revenue generated by the site can help me do that.

It’s also important to understand that I will never put ads on this site! Ads help pay for much of the content on the web, but the prevalence of ad blocking software has forced some advertisers to resort to unethical tricks. Ad networks have also been known to fall prey to hacks that cause undesired behavior. Plus, advertising could introduce a bias, if I felt pressure not to offend the companies advertising through my site. Thus, advertising really isn’t appropriate here.
